AWS SDK for JavaScript Iot Data Plane Client for Node.js, Browser and React Native

IoT data enables secure, bi-directional communication between Internet-connected things (such as sensors,
actuators, embedded devices, or smart appliances) and the Amazon Web Services cloud. It implements a broker for applications and
things to publish messages over HTTP (Publish) and retrieve, update, and delete shadows. A shadow is a
persistent representation of your things and their state in the Amazon Web Services cloud.
Find the endpoint address for actions in IoT data by running this CLI command:
aws iot describe-endpoint --endpoint-type iot:Data-ATS
The service name used by Amazon Web ServicesSignature Version 4
to sign requests is: iotdevicegateway.

To send a request, you only need to import the IoTDataPlaneClient and
the commands you need, for example ListRetainedMessagesCommand:

To send a request, you:
- Initiate client with configuration (e.g. credentials, region).
- Initiate command with input parameters.
- Call send operation on client with command object as input.destroy()
- If you are using a custom http handler, you may call to close open connections.

#### Async/await
We recommend using await
operator to wait for the promise returned by send operation as follows:

}
Async-await is clean, concise, intuitive, easy to debug and has better error handling
as compared to using Promise chains or callbacks.
#### Promises
You can also use Promise chaining
to execute send operation.

Promises can also be called using .catch() and .finally() as follows:

#### Callbacks
We do not recommend using callbacks because of callback hell,
but they are supported by the send operation.

#### v2 compatible style
The client can also send requests using v2 compatible style.
However, it results in a bigger bundle size and may be dropped in next major version. More details in the blog post

When the service returns an exception, the error will include the exception information,
as well as response metadata (e.g. request id).
