audio-context-singleton

When you want to have an audioContext singleton but don't want to rewrite this small bit of code, use this. Deals with browser differences in AudioContext and maintains the singleton.

Very little code in the implementation; here for the sake of DRY.

Installation
------------

npm install audio-context-singleton

Usage
-----

var AudioContextSingleton = require('audio-context-singleton');

// Pass { offline: true } here if you want an OfflineAudioContext.
var { getCurrent, getNew } = AudioContextSingleton();
var audioCtx = getNew();
// Get the same context again.
audioCtx = getCurrent();
await audioCtx.close();
var otherCtx = getNew();

Sample rates can be specified in getNewby passing an option.

getNew({ sampleRate: 44100 });
