You can install the package globally and use it as command line tool:

Using npm

npm install --global babel-it

Using yarn

yarn global add babel-it

Then, run babel-it --help and see what the CLI tool can do.

Usage: babel-it [options]

Babelify your code before npm publish.

Options:
--skip-checkout If this option is provided, the git checkout step
will be skipped.
--skip-publish If this option is provided, the npm publish step
will be skipped.
-I, --ignore The files to ignore.
-i, --input The input file paths.
-h, --help Displays this help.
-v, --version Displays version information.
