Scaffolding Your First Material Tailwind Project

> Compatibility Note:
> Material Tailwind requires Node.js version 14.18+, 16+. However, some templates require a higher Node.js version to work, please upgrade if your package manager warns about it.

With NPM:

``bash
$ npm create material-tailwind
`

With Yarn:

`bash
$ yarn create material-tailwind
`

With PNPM:

`bash
$ pnpm create material-tailwind
`

Then follow the prompts!

You can also directly specify the project name and the template you want to use via additional command line options. For example, to scaffold a Material Tailwind project for Next.js, run:

npm

npm create material-tailwind my-material-tailwind-app --template next

yarn

yarn create material-tailwind my-material-tailwind-app --template next

pnpm

pnpm create material-tailwind my-material-tailwind-app --template next
`

Currently supported template presets include:

- cra
- cra-ts
- next
- next-ts
- remix
- remix-ts
- vite
- vite-ts

You can use .` for the project name to scaffold in the current directory.
