Meta package for ember-power-calendar to get run with date-fns
npm install ember-power-calendar-date-fnsDate manipulation, formatting and parsing is too complex for ember-power-calendar to reinvent, so it
has to rely on other well tested libraries for that.
This is the addon that exposes the utils used internally by ember-power-calendar,
using date-fns underneath.
You will want to install this addon if you already use date-fns in your application already, or if
date-fns is your preferred date manipulation library.
* Ember.js v3.28 or above
* Ember CLI v3.28 or above
* Embroider or ember-auto-import v2
```
ember install ember-power-calendar-date-fns date-fns
Add the following lines into you app/app.js to register this meta addon to ember-power-calendar`ts
import { registerDateLibrary } from 'ember-power-calendar';
import DateUtils from 'ember-power-calendar-date-fns';
registerDateLibrary(DateUtils);
`
If you have specified a specific language over setDefaultOptions() in date-fns the packages is automatically using this language for all formats.date-fns
As the package itself has only the default language of installed, you need to register all additional languages to ember-power-calendar-date-fns.
You can do this like in following example:
`ts
import { registerLocale } from 'ember-power-calendar-date-fns';
import { setDefaultOptions } from 'date-fns';
import { de, it } from 'date-fns/locale';
setDefaultOptions({ locale: de }); // Sets the default locale for date-fns
registerLocale(de); // this registers the language German (de) in power calendar meta package
registerLocale(it); // this registers the language Italian (it) in power calendar meta package
`
Don't use it.
This library is meant to be used internally by ember-power-calendar` only.
The API can change in breaking ways based on the needs of Ember Power Calendar.
