Common JavaScript coding Style - ESLint Shareable Config
npm install eslint-config-commonAn ESLint Shareable Config for Common JavaScript Coding style.
``sh`
npm install eslint-config-common
Shareable configs are designed to work with the extends feature of .eslintrc files.
You can learn more about
Shareable Configs on the
official ESLint website.
To use the JavaScript Common Style shareable config, first run this:
`sh`
npm install eslint-config-common eslint-plugin-standard eslint-plugin-promise
Then, add this to your .eslintrc file:
`json`
{
"extends": "common"
}
Note: We omitted the eslint-config- prefix since it is automatically assumed by ESLint.
You can override settings from the shareable config by adding them directly into your
.eslintrc` file.
The rules of the common coding style are based and/or inspired by:
* Google's JavaScript Style Guide
* Airbnb JavaScript Style Guide
* Felix's Node.js Style Guide
* Feross's JavaScript Standard Style
* eslint-config-common-jsx
* eslint-config-common-react
