NGN Mechanic

The NGN Mechanic is a server-side background process that manages NGN processes and applications
(aka Gears). It acts like a server agent, capable of exposing information about a running
process, creating global configuration attributes (like reusable datasources), and ultimately
simplifying the maintenance of a process.

The service follows the "engine" metaphor. Mechanic will monitor the gears in your engine, fine
tune it, and control it.
